Possible RCE was detected in Telegram's media processing in Telegram Desktop application.
This issue expose users to malicious attacks through specially crafted media files, such as images or videos.
For security reasons disable auto-download feature. Please follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap on "Advanced".
3. Under the "Automatic Media Download" section, disable auto-download for "Photos", "Videos", and "Files" across all chat types (Private chats, groups, and channels).
We are currently investigating this vulnerability.

邯郸初中生被害案嫌疑人被核准追诉
2024年3月10日，河北省邯郸市肥乡区初一学生王某某被杀害。3月11日，涉案的张某某、李某、马某某3名未成年犯罪嫌疑人被公安机关全部抓获。检察机关高度重视，依法提前介入公安机关侦查活动。3月21日，邯郸市肥乡区公安局对涉嫌故意杀人罪的张某某、李某及马某某提请检察机关核准追诉。
检察机关审查认为，张某某、李某及马某某3人作案时已满十二周岁不满十四周岁，故意杀人致被害人王某某死亡，情节恶劣，应当追究刑事责任。根据《中华人民共和国刑法》第十七条第三款的规定，河北省检察机关逐级层报最高人民检察院对张某某、李某及马某某核准追诉。
近日，经最高人民检察院审查，依法决定对犯罪嫌疑人张某某、李某及马某某核准追诉。
检察机关将在严格依法办案的同时，切实履行法律监督职责，进一步加大未成年人犯罪预防和治理力度。
