中国人民银行向万事网联公司核发银行卡清算业务许可证
根据《国务院关于实施银行卡清算机构准入管理的决定》《银行卡清算机构管理办法》等规定，中国人民银行会同国家金融监督管理总局审查批准“万事网联信息技术 (北京) 有限公司” (以下简称万事网联公司) 提交的银行卡清算机构开业申请。
2023 年 11 月 17 日，中国人民银行向万事网联公司核发银行卡清算业务许可证。万事网联公司是万事达公司 (MasterCard) 与网联清算有限公司在中国境内共同发起设立的合资公司。
在获得中国行政许可后，万事网联公司可在中国境内授权成员机构发行和受理“万事达”品牌的人民币银行卡。截至目前，中国已经批准美国运通、万事达两家境外银行卡清算机构进入国内市场。
